素材はコットン100%の刺し子生地です。ロープ染色のインディゴカラーで染められた糸が使用され、柔らかめに織られた11ozの刺子生地です。刺し子生地は綿布の一面に細かく刺し縫いを施すことで、生地としての強度を高めた日本人の知恵から生まれた日本の伝統的な補強生地です。丈夫なことから消防(火消し)半纏や柔道着などに使用される、まさに日本を代表するリアルワーク素材です。通常の刺し子生地はその丈夫さからハリ・コシのある質感の生地が多いのですが、このジャケットに使用されている刺し子生地は、しなやかで柔らかい着心地も併せ持っています。

また、この製品にはワンウォッシュ加工がかけられています。ワンウォッシュで、すでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しています。ロープ染色のインディゴカラーで染められた糸を使用しているため、着用と洗濯を繰り返すごとに生地が馴染み、風合いが増し、美しい経年変化も楽しめます。

裏地の付いていない単衣ものライトアウターで、春先から秋口まで軽く羽織れ、年間を通して、幅広く着用できるアイテムです。

フロントは5つボタンによる開閉式です。フロントボタンにはロゴ刻印入りのブラックコーティングのメタルボタンが使用されています。

ポケット数は2つです。フロント両身頃にボタン付きのフラップポケットが設けられています。

袖口はリベットで補強されたカフスリット(スリーブプラケット)付きの1つボタン(シングルボタン)留めカフス仕様です。

背中の腰の両サイドには絞り調整用のボタン留めのアジャスターが付けられています。

フロントのボックスステッチ留めダブルアクションプリーツでセカンドタイプのデザインが再現されています、背中は切り替えのみでプリーツは付かずシャープなシルエットを演出します。

内側首元にはレザーパッチが配されています。
