本製品は、ビンテージアウトドア・ウエスタンスタイルウェアをイメージソースに、オールドアメリカンのディテールを再現しながらも、シュガーケーンによってタウンユース用にアレンジされたダウンベストです。ポリエステル/コットン混紡素材アウターシェルにレザーヨーク切替、中綿に本格仕様ダウン(ダウン80%/フェザー20%)を装備させることにより、デザイン性と保温性・快適な着心地を確保した秋冬用防寒ダウンアウターベストに改良されています。クラシックなヴィンテージスタイルのディテールを踏襲しつつも、現代的なシルエット・縫製を取り入れ、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに再構築されています。アウトドアスタイル、アメカジスタイル・ワークスタイルにも合わせやすいアイテムです。

表地素材はポリエステル82%/コットン18%の混紡生地です。見た感じはナイロンに近い生地で、ハリのあるじょうぶな摩擦に強い生地です。

表地は水平方向にキルティングがほどこされ、ダウン(ダウン80%/フェザー20%)が詰められ、防寒性・保温性が高められています。フェザーを20％封入することにより、ダウンの偏りが軽減されます。また、キルティングによりダウンが寄ったり、ずれたりしにくい構造になっています。

裏地は滑りのよいポリエステル生地で、インナーウェアとの摩擦を考慮した袖通しの良い機能的な生地です。(内ポケットは付いていません)。

フロント開閉は、UNIVERSAL(ユニバーサル社)製ジッパーと、その上を7つのスナップボタンで留める比翼(ストームフラップ)仕立てで、風が侵入してくるのを防いでくれるつくりになっています。ボタンには「SUGAR CANE CALOFORNIA」ロゴ刻印入りのメタルボタンが使用されています。

衿はスタンドカラーです。スソはカーブ状にカットされたラウンドボトム(ラウンドテール)です。

ショルダーヨークは本革(牛革レザー)で切り替えられ、デザインのアクセントにされています。フロントヨークはシングルポイントウェスタンヨーク、バックヨークは3ポイント仕様です。

ウエストには斜めに口が開いたパッチハンドウォーマーポケットが設けられています。

Outer shell : Made with a polyester/cotton blend fabric. This fabric offers excellent durability. And it is long-lasting and easy to care for. The fabric is tough, durable crispy feel, suitable for outdoor activities. In appearance, the fabric has the robust look and finish of like nylon. Full horizontal quilted fabric outer shell with 80% down and 20% feather insulation. The quilting keeps the down from shifting around while you wear the vest.

Lining shell : 100% polyester lining. The lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the vest off and put it on easily.

Interlining (Type of insulation) : Inside 80% down to 20% feather filling. 80% down and 20% feather filling sandwiched between the outer shell and lining shell to retains heat and protect you from the cold. Suitable for fall and winter seasons.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure with snap-button-front wind flap protector (storm flap) located in front of zipper closure. Front fastener from UNIVERSAL zip. The zipper is covered with a storm flap that fastens with snap buttons across the zipper. This design protects the wind from slipping through the front.

Storage : This vest has two external slanted patch hand-warmer pockets.
